Being Pushed Down by Shadow is an upcoming animated film and proposed project in need of a grant to complete. The film will follow a college-age daughter and her mother’s tense relationship with each other. The film follows the main characters through the summer of 1970 as they slowly become haunted by a matriarchal and ominous presence in their home. Starting off as a sleep paralysis nightmare, the smokey apparition begins to take on the appearance of an old woman. Both women grow closer as the mother begins to receive treatment for lung cancer, and they realize they are being haunted by the same force.
