The Con is On (2018)

The title sequence for The Con Is On combines graphic 2D animation with 3D elements to create a darkly playful visual language inspired by the iconic motion graphics of Saul Bass. Working with a dark, atmospheric color palette designed by David Lindwall, I animated a title sequence that leans into the film’s macabre humor, using stylized imagery, graphic shapes, and unexpected visual gags to introduce the characters and the story themes. I did this by blending motion graphics with cel-shaded 3D animated elements to give the sequence variety in movement.
