My animated films transform my personal experiences into surreal and visually layered narratives. Drawing from memories, nostalgia and the strange places between reality and imagination, I combine magical realism and elements of horror to create a new storytelling experience for audiences.

My films are created through a hybrid process that brings together a mixture of digital animation and handmade materials. Digital 2D and 3D animation are composited with physical environments constructed by hand. The miniature sets incorporate a range of traditional processes including sculpture, fiber arts, 3D printing and CNC laser cutting.

The result is collage-based visual language that helps create intimate, unique environments that feel familiar and slightly otherworldly for the digital characters (and the audience) to explore!
