Sundays (2026)
Sundays is a 2D animated memoir focusing on memory, routine and coping with grief after a profound loss. Through a combination of digital and found materials, the film reflects on a daughter’s relationship with her father, whom she saw every Sunday, and the quiet rituals that remain after his passing in 2019.

Color Palette:
Sundays’ color palette was inspired by natural inks and dyes. The film’s original plan included handmade paper with natural dyes and inks used as watercolor paint to complete the look. This idea, while beautiful, was scrapped as it was too time intensive. Several inks and dyes were already made.
